Yasmin, by her given name Yasmin Zarrouk was born 24 years ago in a small place called Sidi Bou Said off the coast of Tunisia.
After growing up being surrounded by the musical influences of her heritage she moved to Paris, while still a very young teenager where later on she developed a love for electronic music, a passion which saw her play numerous gigs both in Paris and her homeland of Tunisia, sharing the decks with big profile names such as Matt John, San Proper, Cristi Cons, Pit Spector, Steve Rachmad and many others in clubs like Trabendo (Paris), Zerozero (Paris) and Pigalion.
Her style is eclectic, funky and chalk full of groove. In her own words she can go from deep house, detroit techno, minimal and everything in between.
For the past year and a half she's been working hard on her production skills, tinkering about and learning the ways of analogue. Being a perfectionist she states that her first record has to be something she will be proud of years after its completion.
